nThe pins are usually made of stainless metal. Depending on the design, the pin will be printed, if there are many details, or will be made out of enamel, if the design is less detailed.

nWith this latest version there are 2 options. Soft enamel pins, the most popular option, can be embossed and contain slightly more details than the hard enamel pins. The hard enamel pins, the most luxurious and durable version, are polished to give a flat surface. A soft enamel pin can also get a flat surface if we add a transparent layer of epoxy to it. nThe pins get a butterfly closure at the back. The back cover can be covered with a nickel layer for a better finish.
